Here’s the full video for the latest Guiding Light theme, “Only Love.”
I have to say, this theme originally irritated the hell out of me. I’m sorta OK with the theme now, but I will say I am appreciating the song much more as a stand-alone song. Kati Mac has a little Melissa Ethridge-with-a-twist-of-Dar-Williams-thrown-in thing going for her. (And I had to blink at first – I thought Kati was Marie Masters, ATWT’s Susan!)
Of course, perhaps my wariness around such a joyful song is my disposition. Love may save the world, but love will also tear us (and Reva and Josh) apart, again.
