I posted a tribute to Kim Hughes and Kathryn Hays a few weeks ago.
Without too much extra fuss, I’ll just say this: The Kim scenes in yesterday’s air show (with Katie) was the finest few minutes I’ve seen on this show in some time.
It also showed how wonderfully complex Kim was. I loved that she was able to essentially tell Katie that (a) she loved her dearly and (b) she would CUT Katie if she complicated Chris’ life or possible recovery.
It was complex and rich and all of the things we never, EVER see anymore. Bravo, Kim. And bravo, Ms. Hays. PLEASE submit that for an Emmy reel next year.
