A blanket of sadness

The last few weeks haven’t exactly been a big blanket of sunshine in the daytime world, have they?

After losing Beverlee McKinsey and Larry Haines earlier this year, we’ve lost three big names in daytime in just the last few days and weeks: Irene Dailey, Eileen Herlie, and (announced today) former Days of our Lives and Passions head writer  James E. Reilly.

Much has been said, and said well, about Dailey and Herlie (especially by Marlena Delacroix). I’m sure I can’t add anything more. 

Tom Casiello has a great post about Reilly, who was quite an enigma to his co-workers as well as fans.
